The UCI case is
over: Dr. Moon and UCI win in the US Supreme Court
After fifteen
years of litigation, the case brought by the Unification Church (FFWPUI)
against Dr. Hyun Jin Preston Moon and UCI has reached its definitive
conclusion. On March 9, 2026, the Supreme Court of the United States denied the
Unification Church's petition for certiorari in FFWPUI v. Moon, No. 25-634,
declining to review the lower court's decision. With no further avenue of
appeal available, the case is now fully and finally resolved. The denial marks
the end of a legal campaign that began in 2011, when the Unification Church
first filed suit seeking to wrest control of UCI and its assets from Dr. Moon —
a campaign that ultimately failed at every level of the judicial system.

외)에 대한 가정연합 측의 상고 이유서(petition for
certiorari)를 기각함으로써 하급심의 판결을 재검토하지 않기로 결정했습니다. 이로써
더 이상의 상고 절차는 불가능해졌으며, 본 사건은 완전히 그리고 최종적으로 해결되었습니다.
이번 기각 결정은 2011년
가정연합이 문현진 박사로부터 UCI와 그 자산에 대한 통제권을 빼앗기 위해 처음 소송을 제기하며 시작된
